送走福气牛，迎来好运虎，为迎接寅虎年的到来，设计学院国际设计中心旨为以纸为载体，培养儿童的动手能力、想象力和创造力，开展以设计教育、设计教育为主题的“thinking with card”系列工作坊。

With the tiger year went live, International Design Centre aims to use paper to develop children's hands-on skills, imagination and creativity through a series of 'thinking with card' workshops on the theme of design education.

虎者，百兽之王，在中国人心里，老虎是驱邪避灾、平安吉祥的象征，而且还能保护财富。它寄托着人们对美好生活的向往与追求,因此至今仍受到人们的广泛喜爱。以虎文化为出发点，国际设计中心的学生开始了探索和思考，尝试了各种风格的老虎，同时带有一定的故事性。

The tiger is the king of all animals , and in Chinese, it is a symbol of peace and good fortune to ward off evil spirits and protect wealth. It is a symbol of people's desire and pursuit of a better life, and is therefore still widely loved today.So Taking the tiger culture as a starting point, the students from International Design Centre began to explore and think about various styles of tigers ,also has some storytelling.

最后样子参考中国传统的布老虎的造型，再不断的设计尝试和迭代后，整体造型增加耳朵，眼睛和舌头之前的联动机关，并且制作过程完全通过卡纸折叠，不需要胶水就可以组装，孩子们还可以充分发挥自己的创意对贺卡进行涂色，大胆展开天马行空的想象。

And finall referred to the traditional Chinese cloth tiger , after continuous trials and iterations, the outcome added ears, eyes and tongue before the linkage mechanism. The children were also able to give full play to their creative ideas and colour the cards.
